Recording with WireTap Studio
There are two ways to make a recording with WireTap Studio - using the controller and using recording sessions.
With it's small footprint the WireTap Studio controller can be set to float over all windows giving you quick click access to WireTap Studio's recording capabilities from any application. You can even use a hot key, set in the General pane of the preferences, to start and stop recordings with the controller.
Enable LivePreview™ to listen to the source audio encoded at the settings you have chosen in real time before recording. Set your source and file format then use the start, stop and pause buttons for full control over your recording.
Recording sessions allow you to preset and save all of the options related to a recording for quick and easy use. Recording sessions can be set to open a file or URL in the application of your choice. Launch Safari, download a link to your favorite streaming broadcast, launch it in the player of your choice and begin recording to almost any audio format with any Audio Unit effects you choose - all with one click of a button in WireTap Studio.
Recording sessions can be scheduled to automate and timeshift your recordings. With WireTap Studio's powerful and flexible recording capability, you can record and customize your audio - even when you're not there.
WireTap Studio is powerful enough to record from any number of recording sessions at the same time.
